Technical Note
Evidence → Decision → Authority → Action → Outcome
A technical note on the operating path that keeps consequential work inspectable.
Evidence
Relevant sources, observations and context enter the decision path with provenance.
Decision
The system or person interprets the evidence against the objective and current business context.
Authority
Before a consequential commitment, the applicable Decision Authority determines whether the action can continue or must be escalated.
Action
The approved direction can be carried into a person, Dainin capability or supported external system.
Outcome
The result is retained with the decision path so later work can inspect what happened and what should change.
Why the chain matters
Without the chain, an organisation may know that an action happened without being able to reconstruct why it was allowed or what evidence justified it.
